Have you ever felt the need for steering dampers on the Rocket 3?

Here is an old thread connected to the steering damper topic. I will refer to the page where I joined in, but it is especially interesting to check the @Claviger solution there. https://www.r3owners.net/threads/steering-damper-kits-wanted.30849/page-13

    Steering Damper

Actually, in the meantime there is another possible solution showing up. The damper from the BMW R18 C might be quite appropriate.

    Steering Damper

I did a radial steering damper for my '14. @Claviger came up with a great solution, in the same thread. I don't know if this is any help for the new models, though. https://www.r3owners.net/threads/steering-damper-kits-wanted.30849/page-13

Custom tune on my 2020 R dyno sheet

The new Rocket just became a lot more interesting! 177hp sounds like a pile of fun, that's in the V-Max ballpark. A nice classical half fairing and I'd have one.

Triumph GT windscreen on the R, worth it or buffeting?

Hello, would you mind to share info about the windscreen, rear fender and phone holder? They look like a nice way to go. Thanks!

    Mother of Rocket III sighted!

British mother then ... sounds right! Edit: Thanks @ozrider, seems this really is an XK120 Jaguar engine, built from 1948. 3442cc and 160+hp!! What an accomplishment to put this in a motorcycle, 60 years ago.

    Mother of Rocket III sighted!

Seems the Rocket's mother was sighted. Rare photos show her outstanding features and beautiful eyes! Anybody know her name?

    Competition Werkes Exhaust 2020 R3

Hello @msdunkel, it is entirely possible to intentionally create a decel pop, that's very common in sports cars to make them sound mean. They will pop on decel, but immediately return to an efficient tune when accelerating. But if a decel pop ocurrs unintentionally when mounting an aftermarket...

Well, it is done, 158HP 170 FtLbs

I checked your impressive dyno chart, congrats! When I did a few comparisons it made me grin, so I'd like to share this: To beat a friend's fresh Milwaukee 8 in max rwhp, you need just 2600rpm now. Pretty impressive! But wait - it's a (40k USD) shiny CVO 117 Tourer ... alright, then you need...

    Kawasaki Z H2 vs. Triumph Rocket 3

I have an H2 SX as a second bike since this summer. 172rwhp, actually a tad detuned from the Z H2's stock 180rwhp, but longer wheelbase - and the ECU is not locked. It's the same story here: My R3R at 163rwhp will leave it behind in first gear, but from 60mph up the H2 is quicker, catching up...

    Competition Werkes Exhaust 2020 R3

As @Paul Bryant has pointed out, decel popping is a lean condition on closed throttle. In most cases it results from mounting an aftermarket exhaust without a proper tune. So while it is kind of a warning (showing that the bike probably runs lean), it is also a sign that the new exhaust has...

CES closed down? - long live Oz rider's headers

Sad news! I got the headers and midpipe. With a Ramair filter and a dyno tune I won 40+hp over stock. CES Racing was a great resource.
