  1. Radiator design

I agree it does stand out. One of the first things I noticed when I saw it for the first time. Call me a newbie, but with only 700 miles on my '14 I love every bit of its massive unique look. Like my Audi, the grill sets it apart from everything else ;)
  2. Friend bought a bike exactly like mine

I've seen both for 2014. Mine has the white and it's a 14.
  3. Friend bought a bike exactly like mine

That's true! Perhaps I can perform an experiment
  4. Friend bought a bike exactly like mine

It would be cool to see some different factory color schemes. Some of the custom paints on this site are awesome.
  5. Friend bought a bike exactly like mine

LOL! He's a good friend. I should have seen if coming. He drove me to pick mine up and we've been on several rides already. He's been talking about mine for weeks. He's a big guy and I believe he really wanted something more stable and with ABS. Either way, the different accessories will...
  6. Friend bought a bike exactly like mine

So I've had my 14 R3R for about 2 months. I tend to ride with the same 4 guys from work who own a variety of bikes (Victory, Honda, etc.) I have to admit it felt good being the only Triumph owner. Then yesterday one of my friends trades in his M109R for a 14 R3R; same white racing stripe as...
  7. Riding Again!

Welcome back! Very similar situation to mine. Dirts as a kid then on to CBR F3, 1100 Shadow and then my kids were born. Took 18 years off and now I'm back at it! My 2014 R3 has me smiling every day. I'll be in total withdrawal when the snow flies here. I'll be counting on all of you to get me...
  8. Went to a Harley hangout in Maine

Awesome shirt! Where? Sounds like a good idea for a new forum for pics: "R3 Envy" or maybe "Why yes, it is 2300 cc's"
  9. Went to a Harley hangout in Maine

Except for the K iso grips and the Utopia rider seat (when it's on) mine is stock. Ha, I'll try and snap some pics next time we stop. I bet I can capture one of those utility belts as well
  10. Went to a Harley hangout in Maine

LOL. I talked to a few of them when I was getting ready to ride. Really nice guys. They couldn't believe the stats on it mostly. Had them even more curious.
  11. Went to a Harley hangout in Maine

Ha. Great pics! Same happened here last month in Mpls when my friends and I stopped for a snack.
  12. New rocket 3 roadster owner, first ride impressions

Welcome!! I have almost 400 miles on my 14 R3R and grin just looking at it. Your ride description was spot on! I also made the change from sport bikes and can't imagine having any other bike. It's funny how many people stop to look at you when you drive by. Enjoy!
  13. New 14 Roadster in garage, need pullback solution for bars

Sounds good, let me know how they work. I'll ask my dealer mechanic when I take mine in for it's first check up. Now, if it would only stop raining every day here in Seattle - I mean Minneapolis...haha.
  14. picking up my new 2014 roadster tomorrow

    Welcome from Minnesota!
  15. New 14 Roadster in garage, need pullback solution for bars

Hey Doc, I picked up mine a week ago and was researching that very topic and came across this site...low and behold, here I am! The bike is simply awesome. It's been a great ride so far (only 190 miles) but I'm used to a higher/closer grip stance. I've also found the Rivco's aren't meant for...
