    Gauge Problem.

Will undoubtedly be helpful to people with failed speedos out there. Also worth mentioning, when I brought the bike to the dealer to diagnose, they said I needed both a tach and a speedo. They were each about 500-600 bucks. I told them to only order the speedo. As it turned out the replaced...

New R3 rider - since yesterday!

Welcome from Pittsburgh! Wireless charging mount: 1) Ram mount 2) Wireless Charger Ram mounts are very secure and have TONS of options to fit your situation. Then need a thin wireless charger such as the one I linked to above. Use outdoor rated 2 sided tape to secure the wireless puck to the...

Coolant additives that improve heat transference

Well, considering I have been thinking about a vasectomy, I could get a two-fer. Would help justify the extra cost.

Coolant additives that improve heat transference

Ok, well let's put this to some kind of useful application. I am tired of hearing about turbos and superchargers on R3s. It's time someone put a nuclear power plant in one. Think of all of the greenhouse gasses to be saved...

    Aftermarket LED lights (All+)

You have several options: 1) Install cheap 6 ohm resistors on each leg of your turn signals. (you can buy 4 for 9 bucks on Amazon). The only reason I'm not crazy about using them is that they get very hot after a min or two of use. They mimic the load of an incandescent bulb, ergo they generate...

    Best Tire Size for Handling

"I talked to 1olbull, it does screw up antilock brakes function, too." Good point. I have a 2005, so no ABS, but yes, I have read where the difference between the stock and the 130 can screw up ABS. From what I have read, it seems that the 140 is less likely to cause ABS issues.

Smaller than the factory tire, but not odd on the bike. See for yourself.

Bought my first Triumph ever... an '07 Rocket 3 with 100k on it and charging issues!

Of the things it could be, that was about the best! Happy you didn't have to pull the engine.

Running on Front: Avon Cobra Chrome AV91 140/75R-17 ($164 at Rocky Mountain ATV) Running on rear: Bridgestone Excedra Max 240 ($160 at Rocky Mountain ATV) Pretty happy with the combo. I seems to get a better mileage with the Excedra Max rear than the Metzler, but that's still only about 4K...

    Son-In-Law gets a Trumpy

Aaaaah, the gold old days. An 81 XS1100SF was my first "big" bike. Loved it. Great torque and handled well. Decided I finally needed to actually get my MC License, so I took the test on it. Fond memories....
