I can tell you from experience to be careful with the torque on all Triumph fasteners, when reinstalling my sump I snapped one of the bolts, I ordered new ones and went lighter on the torque with no leaks.
Funny thing is that the mechanic did take it for a test drive, he said that he was surprised by the smoothness of it, I guess a glowing orange light was missed...
Update, they just found a part in California that they are overnighting to AZ should be here tomorrow afternoon, they said to keep the BMW for now. Looking better!
I'm glad that I didn't hurt anyone, I can get another r3r, you'd be amazed at what you do at speed to avoid hitting someone! The engine was in third gear and it died as soon as I dumped it.
I knew that the abs was bad before the tire swing. I think it's reasonable that they keep it. I'll take half of the blame for dumping it, abs would have saved my crash bars, they got scuffed a little.
