Glad to hear that it worked out. I have an older Rocket so no ABS. I can see the advantage of having it.

    Pipes Unknown

Just stirring the pot, to see what comes floating to the top. I probably agree with you the most. Is it strange that my buddy's Harley not only says "Potatoe, Potatoe" it also smells like French Fries? I rember I had a Yamaha Seca 750 that had a whole in the exhaust. It never sounded so good!

I think the Rocket has a unique sound. My Harley buddy thinks my Rocket sounds meaner than a Harley. I like the Harley sound just fine. I am talking opinion not fact. Because my likes are subjective not factual. So I wiki not be arrogant enough to point out how stupid some people are on here...

    The MAN Card

Guys (in USA) remember the whole idea of a man card , or losing a man card,is a joke. Remember it was made popular by beer commercials, some of them pretty funny. But these were regional to the USA. So the humor would be lost on others whom have never seen these commercials or jokes. The...

    potential R3 owner

Welcome to the site from Florida. It seems at this point in time the current Rockets have been de-bugged. Like others have said the Torque is awesome. I have an older model and have the restrictions removed. 3rd gear is pretty good in traffic from 40 mph to 105mph I don't have to shift. It is...

    R3 Metric?????

It is ashamed what Harley has become. Back in the day when Indian and Harley was going head to head, it was about performance and out doing each other. Harley has become so entrenched with the V-Twin and air cooled image it will be their downfall. The men that modified bikes and cars in the...

    R3 Metric?????

Metric is much easier. The other day I needed a wrench. 5/16 to small, 3/8 was to big but 11/32 was just right. What a pain in the ass. At least metric the increment is consistent a mm at a time. BTW - don't forget the end zones of the football field.

    Poetry in motion

Thanks for posting. I don't know how long the race lasts but that must take a lot of endurance. I would love the opportunity to do that, even for one lap.

Update, melted rubber in gas tank

I doubt it is the ethanol. Ethanol has been around for a long time. Brazil has been using it for over 30 years. The problem with ethanol is that it attracts water which leads to rust. Newer cars and vehicles are suppose to use components in the fuel system that won't rust. Cork gaskets doesn't...
