    It has been years since I overhauled my switch, so I am not sure how I accomplished the task. But I remember that I tore into my bad switch first, that way I wouldn't destroy the new one.     You can take the tumbler out and put them in the new housing. That way you can use the same key.

    Fred, use a Dremel with a cut off wheel to make a groove in the top, then turn it out with a screwdriver.
