    What Octane to run?

Guys, go puck up an ethanol test kit. It is nothing more than a graduated vial that you add water and fuel, shake and measure the separation line. The amount of ethanol from many sources is much higher than the 9% mandated - especially if you purchase fuel from stations with little sales, where...

RAMAIR Filters bespoke Rocket-3 underclaw filter.

Without a baseline run, this doesn't have value. We also need what exhaust was used, and whether this is after or before tuning.

    What Octane to run?

I see similar results locally. Drivers mix ethanol in a portion of the tanker, and may add it first or last. 30-32% ethanol is not uncommon, 15-20% is normal. If ethanol sits in a tank it separates relatively quickly. Since there seems to be a LOT of confusion as to fuel differences around the...

Map For R3T Jardines Stock a/c?

The maps for triple K&N filter will work fine. A few may be slightly rich above 5000 rpm. There are several maps on the TuneECU site.

    Reset adaptions

Resetting the adaptions clears the adaptive memory. A "12-minute tune-up" forces new short-term adaptions to take place for current sensor readings (changes in fuel, altitude, etc.)

The crank throws are 120 degrees apart - just like an inline six.

They are forged and hardened - likely ion nitrided, but I am not sure. They could easily be induction hardened. Rods are forged and shot-peened.

    Cactus final drive drive shaft

Removing the driveshaft requires removing the swingarm. No Triumph-specific tools required unless you consider crown nut sockets something manufacturer specific. Ebay USA has several driveshafts rangine from under USD $90 to $325. Labor is roughly 3-4 hours at dealership rates. Less if you know...

Part number for K&N under claw filter

Even if they flow more, it won't really matter as three RX-4040-1 filters flow more than a 250 hp R3 requires. The difference will be in how much hot air is pulled in under the Bearclaw. This is normally 5-6 hp with an aftermarket exhaust verses the bearclaw removed with the 2780 filters.

    HELP! Jardines don't quite fit

Absolutely no difference in castings year to year. Some of the earliest Jardine headers required two gaskets per exhaust and a bit of persuasion with a short 2x4 on cylinder 1 (front). Do not over-tighten the flanges - they are only aluminum.

RAMAIR Filters bespoke Rocket-3 underclaw filter.

Actually, there are gains to be had at low rpm WITH the secondaries in place. The throttle bodies flow slightly more with the secondary blades in place and opened completely, than with them removed.

    Ramair filter arrived...

Yes, these filters come coated with a sticky oil - similar to the PiperCross, ITG, or UniFilter foam filter oils. Most over oil K&N filters, instead of lightly oiling and letting it bleed out overnight.

    Ramair filter arrived...

NO ONE HAS TESTED/TUNED THIS FILTER ON A DYNAMOMETER YET. As a result, there is not enough information to answer your questions or develop a calibration change (map/tune) if it is needed.
