You are mentioning wind... I find the Rocket to have a dislike of wind... Of all my bikes the Rocket suffers most in any form of wind. My KTM Super Duke R hardly notices wind, so also my wife's Harley 1200 Sportster... but the Rocket... O dear!!
Today I was on the road... minding my own business... doing +- 100 mph. Out of the blue a Rocket came by at blistering speed... My first thought was it is Doug (Junior)!! He took Kevin's warning to heart! Ghmfff! ;)
Agreed! The Ducati uses "normal" 17" wheels with a "lower" profile 240 rear tire that gives it a sportier look and crisper handling. I'd really like the Rocket to also use 17" with lower profile tires - especially the front which looks "odd".
I'd rather service sooner. I am not a fan of the 10K intervals. I do my bikes at about 4.5K to 5K. Most of the oils tend to break down much faster than we think and viscosity goes down. An oil change is cheaper than repairs or component wear. Regards
