New to the site: Colorado USA

Gorgeous scenery in Colorado, my son lives in Denver. I rode my ST 1300 from Austin to Colorado many years back, what a great trip.

    Aftermarket Fuel Line Connection Replacement?

I had a 2021 Indian Challenger that needed the tank removed to change the air filter also. Indians’ design was to place the fuel line disconnect on the side of the engine making it much more accessible, piece of cake. Indian encourages doing your own maintenance. The Rocket’s design seems to...

    Wind Buffing on GT

I am okay with my Madstadt 22” screen on my GT, but sometimes I would like it to be a little taller. I am 5’8” tall. I do have an adjustable lip I might try one day.

    Rear brake fail

Jagster is correct about the dealer, the go between you and triumph. They should bend over backwards to fix the issue, because they never fixed it properly; not offer you to fix it for another 2 grand. The dealer represents the brand and should be responsible.

    Rear brake fail

I haven’t had any brake problems either; still on original brake pads. I performed a brake bleed myself at the 2 year mark and was pleased with the improved stopping power. I did have the recall done by my selling dealer when the bike was new in 2023. Happy with mine, sorry for your experience.

    Airbags - an update

I’ve been riding with an airbag something for at least 15 years. I started with a Hit-Air mesh jacket, to Helite tethered, to Alpinestars Tech Air 5 and now Helite E-Turtle Vest (summer use). Fortunately, never had one deploy. For me the extra protection provides some peace of mind for this...

    1 gallon reserve

I used to carry aluminum bottles of gas in my Goldwing’s saddle bags for long distance days. I was able to help others more than myself with spare gas. Today I ride more familiar routes, mostly and seem to be good on fuel ups before needed. Plus, low fuel reminder comes on way early on the...

    How to reset service wrench?

Is the correct date and time set up in your dash? Have you disconnected your battery recently, if so, the date and time needs to be reset and the wrench goes away. Tune ECU is the other method of resetting the service wrench.
