Need some help with rear brake issue 2005

I don’t have any lights. I bought a one way valve for the bleeder so I can bleed them off easily by myself. I will try cracking it open when I get that. That’s a really good idea to help figure it out. I also ordered a switch since it’s only 30 dollars. I figure 16 years old it can’t hurt...

Need some help with rear brake issue 2005

That’s what I’m thinking too but I’ve never dealt with a pressure switch before so I’m not certain how sensitive they are. I feel no drag and pads don’t seem to be disappearing but I’m not convinced that doesn’t mean there’s not a slight amount of pressure in the system. Again though I’m not...

Need some help with rear brake issue 2005

It looks good. I actually have new wiring harnesses in case it does go bad because I know it’s an issue. I had a fuse blowing that ended up being headlight related but I grabbed the harness just in case as it was the last one I could find. Everything’s backordered. When I inspected it though...

Need some help with rear brake issue 2005

Hey guys. So a couple weeks ago after hitting a nasty pothole I noticed my brake light was stuck on. After a stretch of bad weather kept me off the bike I’ve now been able to determine it’s the rear brake causing the light to stay on. It doesn’t always cause the issue when I use it. It...

    05 rocket3 tune

I have a similar set up just Tors exhaust and cat removed. I’m assuming with the shotgun your cat is also removed. I’m using 20226. It works very well.

Miss a Payment on Your Air Vest and "No Air For You!"

Better of getting the Icon under coat vest. It’s around 600 vs 400 for the Klim but there is no subscription needed. You buy it and it works. It’s otherwise a very similar product.

Bought my first Triumph ever... an '07 Rocket 3 with 100k on it and charging issues!

I think stock is 850. My original triumph map was 850 and I’ve got another factory map installed for my modifications and it was also 850. I put it up to 890 and actually didn’t like it. Reloaded at 850. Sounds nice. Guess it all depends what you’re looking for. Tune ECU is great because you...

I’m not sure which one you downloaded but it most definitely was 20226 for me. RPM set normal. Secondary butterfly’s in use. O2 on. Fan was 103. Had to turn it down to 98. Definitely a factory tune.

Do you have TuneECU? You should save your current tune before downloading a new one. That way if your bike runs worse you can put the original tune back in to the ECU. You can pay the dealer but if you have the software it’s really easy to do it yourself. Make sure the bike is on a battery...

    Reset Adaptations question

I can give that a try next time. TPS and ISCV are both perfectly within spec.

No I used TuneECU to do it. I found tune 20226 on their resources page for triumph.

This tune did not work for me. 2005 classic with cat removed, tors exhaust and Ramair. I was running way to rich. Idle was all over the place but generally way to low even when I set it to 950 in the tune. Bike would stall out when stopping randomly and seemed super rich. It did take care...

    Reset Adaptations question

In case anyone reads through this post with the issues I was having I wanted to update: I’m not sure why but my TPS always goes green right after reset adaptations. I still run the bike through the procedure but it seems to cause no issues. Anyway I was continuing to have issues with the...

    PCV auto tune O2 question.

Thanks Paul. This forum won’t let you search the term “O2” and triumph rat was giving me confusing info.

    PCV auto tune O2 question.

It looks like the kit for an 05 comes with an 18mm O2 sensor. I think the Rocket has a 12mm sensor stock. For those of you using auto tune did you have to install a new bung in the exhaust to make this work? I was really just hoping to use the stock hole. Thanks.

Awesome to hear you saved her from the scrap heap. Hopefully you put another 100k on her.

    Hello from Canada!

Welcome from Connecticut USA! We don't get enough ride days here. I feel for you guys farther north! I do hope to get up that way sometime with my bike for a long adventure though! Love Canada just haven't been on the bike.

    Decel popping

HansO's modified 20228 MAP in the resources here fixed it for me. It's like a different bike. I love it. Probably only good if you've deleted the Cat and added ramair though.
