  2. where's the colour (color!) code???

    My R3 is (probably) an 08 build and it's dark red. The log book says 'Maroon' and the receipt says 'red'. Most vehicles have a colour code sticker somewhere but I can't find it. Anyone know how to find out what colour code my bike is?

  3. Low speed manouevering

    Had my R3 a couple of weeks now. Took the other half out at the weekend and dragged our tail through the traffic in Bodmin. I noticed (maybe just when two up) the bike feels a lot less planted when trickling round corners at very low speeds. I have the standard R3 - no changes to bars...

  4. Faking the alarm

    So I got a quote on an alarm. Nearly £400! As I have gap insurance, no excess and a lock I thought - how about fitting a bit of electrical wizardry to make the alarm indicator on the tach flash so it looks like there is an alarm fitted and active. Of course you'd only want it flashing...
