  5. K&N's + Bearclaw

    Just so people know, if you put your K&N's on at 45 degrees off vertical (top to the right) you can (with a little bit of force) fit the bearclaw on top.. I'll post a pic or 2 if anyone wants, but it's relatively straight forward, direct onto the standard factory fittings etc etc...

    What are the options? am lookin to buy a set of Sam's pipes and change for triple K&N's am assuming I can't just hide the collant reservoir somewhere at the front so suggestions please.

    if it won't flow back into the radiator, what's the point in keeping an eye on the level in the bottle? Normally the level in the bottle will tell you if there's enough coolant in the system, however if it doesn't flow back then your system culd be light on coolant but the bottle level will...

    normally progressive springs come supplied with heavier oil if required and instructions for how much to put in m8. dunno about Rocket ones yet though, but I will do soon cos I got Hagons on the back but want it a bit stiffer at the front for the twisty roads here in Bonnie Scotland :D

    I am about to purchase a set of Thunderbike pipes 3-1-2's Thunderbike say the bike does not need remapped with them but since reading all the stuff about heat, pipes, tunes concerning Owl's pipes I am a little concerned... can anyone offer any sage-ish advice on this?

    Ordered new shocks yesterday, am really really hoping they get here before my trip round the North of Scotland starting next friday. I went for the slightly longer than stock ones, just short of 13" because I would like a little more ground clearance. I can't change to standard rearsets...

    Had this made by a m8, isn't the poshest of gear but is extremely functional and comes off with the 10mm spanner supplied in bike tool kit I can put my soft luggage on it, that's panniers and tail pack, so I'm all set for a w/end of partying at the farmyard rally :twisted: :P :lol:
