    Windshield but no hardware

So my friend Rich gave me a brand new roadster screen (just the screen, nothing metal on it), so I'm going to need all the fixings. Any idea where to go, exactly what I need and how much? Anyone here selling hardware? Thanks,

    REAR BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

Has anyone replaced one of these? or know what's involved? Thought I'd get some info from you guys in the know before I dive in. Symptom: as I push down rear brake pedal the brake light gets brighter. Thanks,

    Need radiator and/or suggestions please

My coolant woes persist: 1) Sliced open front hose - fix, replaced (2014) 2) Dumping coolant thru vent hose - fix, new radiator cap (2015) 3) Now, came home from a great ride yesterday to see coolant spraying from the right side (sitting on the bike) lower elbow joint/hose: I...

    More front tire info

Amazingly, I got 10K out of the Metz this time (running CT Riken on the rear), but it was truly shot, so probably a comfortable 9K Now I've installed a Shinko (same specs, radial etc. though only up to 130mph). Price $109 incl. shipping. Interestingly, measures about a half inch wider than...

Gash found on water pump output hose

So, I'm just back from a 1600+ mile trip and taking a run to the bank when coolant starts to spray everywhere, pull over in a Home Depot parking lot and watch all my coolant drain out. It's the hose behind the one in front (main drain hose) covered with the slinky protector and I believe it's...

    Rain Cover

I use one - works fine for me but condensation may well be present under the cover in the morning. Keeps heavy rain off seat etc.

    RPMs drop to Zero!

Well, some of you may remember I replaced the TPS not so long ago and fixed my low idle/stall problem. This weekend I took a trip from Chicago to Columbus, OH to hang out and ride with a few friends - bike ran flawlessly. Got up early yesterday to return, ran about 10 miles to first stop light...

Half cover for r3 when on the road

Anyone using a half cover? Looking at the Nelson Riggs UV-2000 to throw on after a day's run, keep seat dry and no need to remove GPS etc: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/browse/view_product_images/650 Any thoughts on fitment?

Final drive oil coming from breather . . .

First time this has happened in 55K. Put bike level and opened filler bolt - still plenty oil in there (definitely only hypoind oil). About 2K since I changed final drive oil. Only thing different I can think of is the weather is now around 30 plus degrees - bike's running fine Any ideas?

Pulling left - another possible fix?

New, my bike pulled to the left with both hands off the handlebar - decelerating or with a throttle lock on at speed. At around 25,000 miles I had the output shaft replaced and when I got the bike back it tracked dead straight! Rode it and loved it for another 13,000 miles. Noticed an oil leak...

How to calculate wheel speed constant?

It's easy enough to go into Tune Consants in Tuneboy and change the wheel speed from 3037 to 3248, but how do you actually make the calculation to read 3248 with 107% of standard value 3037? What numbers do you enter in the gear ratio calculator to make the correction? An explanation would...

Oil drips from where drive shaft enters engine rear

Had the output shaft replaced back in May, about 8000 miles ago. Oil seapage just started from under the rubber boot where the drive shaft enters the engine. No sign of oil on starter motor yet; or, God forbid, rear wheel. A couple drops of oil on floor but stops with engine off. Seapage runs...

Computer + TuneBoy - questions with screenshots

Loaded TB today - no problem Loaded USB driver for TB cable - no problem Here's a shot of my laptop device manager: Followed instructions and connected ECU to cable and USB to laptop, then opened the TB Tune Editor and turned on bike with kill switch on run (BTW, does it matter if...

Tuneboy arrival imminent and a couple questions

As you can see in my sig pic, I ride a 2006 r3 Classic. Will be dumping the catbox and installing the D and D 3-2 exhaust with stock air intake for now - which tune do I load? Second question: I believe the dealers that load their tunes from the diagnostic tool run the 12 minute tune after...

    Anyone using a tailBlazer?

It looks like this: "BE SAFE ! Compared to a typical automobile, motorcycle stop lamps are simply too small to attract immediate attention. This is especially true during daytime, when the bright sunlight can wash out the red brake light. tailBlazer overcomes this by rapidly flashing...

412s on - don't knock 'em at half the 440 price

First I'd like to thank jfcroni for his help and heated garage! Rode down 355 (one of the worst highways in Chicago) to Jim's place on the stock shocks with the new 412s in my roll bag - this road is twenty minutes of constant bumps and not particularly fun on the stockers, to say the least...
