  1. Ugh! Hi guys, still need some major work done.

Ugh! Hi guys, still need some major work done. I left my Rock too long with bad fuel, and the fuel system and tank are shot. I am also wondering if it needs a general rebuild--someone to re-inject life into her--maybe tear her down and upgrade too. Are there any turnkey 2.5s with six speeds all...
  2. BST Front CF Rim Spacer?

My front BST CF Rim came with two round spacers/bearing? W/o breaking the bike down yet, is this the cure for the difference in axles around the 04-05 years, or do I need to order another part for it? :?
  3. Front Axle?

Anyone have the part number for the new front axle for proper fitment on '05 Bikes for the BST's? Yes, I know-they ain't on yet (though my rear tire is now fully worn)
  4. One Click to the Rear Shocks...

Well, I added one more click up to my Progressives (the cheap ones) and now the bike feels much more nimble and stable in turns. Prieviously I was thinking of geting the front forks lowered a bit, and I still may, but the current attitude of the bike seems pretty good. I guess I'd rather...
  5. Who's Got The Number's For the Japanese TP Sensor?

Who's Got The Number's For the Japanese TP Sensor? Someone a while back-I think it's from Suzuki GSX TPS or something. Anyone use this TPS?
  6. Playing Around Again...

OK, played a little more with some positive the timing around idle, and since I felt a slight bog I added some fuel in the areas below. Also added fuel to reduce popping on decel, and TPS reads .590, and throttle shows "0"-same as she was two days ago. So yet another 12 minute tune is going...
  7. O2 Sensor Delete Via TuneBoy...

Can I leave mine connected to the bike, sealed, and ziptied under the panel? Does it get hot, or once it gets turned off via TB it gets no power...?
  8. My Bike's Idle is all F@#ked Up...

My Bike's Idle is all F@#ked Up... Can someone give me the way to tune this thing correctly with my tuneboy? Can't seem to find my manual either :( The symptoms are hard start, low rpms on start, idles a bit high when warmed, you blip the gas and the rpms jump up, than sink lower than...
  9. Official BST vs. Stock Weights In...

Stock Aluminium: Front / Rear 13lbs, 5.9 kilos 24lbs, 10.91 Kilos BST CF Rims: Front / Rear 7 lbs, 3.18 kilos 14.5lbs, 6.7 kilos We are talking some serious weight, which generally is multiplied by x4 (though more the...
  10. What's The "Hot" Spark Plug Folks Are Running Now?

What's The "Hot" Spark Plugs Folks Are Running Now?
  11. My Rocket is...

Not running as it should...I've messed with it a bit and it is out of sync. I've also misplaced the manual :? I've got the tuneboy/PC3 combo. Can someone get me in line as far as resetting the stepper motor, TPS, and manual throttle settings (which I made some turns, and don't know...
  12. Actual Rocket Weight...

On the BST website, Walt/Hombre claims his stripped bike weight 660 lbs, which seems like it has to be a dry weight to me. While he has removed a lot of weight (just like me) my guess is my bike will weigh in at 750 +/- lbs wet with a single Jardine, BST rims (pending arrival), and CF front...
  13. TPS Question...

TB Diagnostics sensors page reads the TPS Volts at .590 at 0% throttle, and yet when I rev it the volts do not change, nor does the throttle show any percentage...it's been a while but this doesn't seem normal-yet the bike rides more or less fine. The secondary TPS volts do move however, as...
  14. What's a Good Replacement Bar for the R3?

What's a Good Replacement Bar for the R3? I'm looking at some shorter bars to go with the "street fighter" image. Need some "bolt on" suggestions that are not too drastic...
  15. OK. Had Tuneboy Awhile now...

OK. Had Tuneboy Awhile now... Ex-'s laptop went to Washington, so, I tried to use my 'ole Compaq Desktop assigned to garage duties, but it just kept chugging & buggin... Finally got my hands on a sexy 17 inch Gateway laptop-err..."notebook." Got Tunbrah' up and runnning with a little...
  16. Important Dyno PC3/TB Tip

A dyno tune, even not the greatest one-is the way to go. I've dynoed multiple toys, and you always end up with a better, smoother, cooler, faster running beast. You can also ask your mech to lean it slightly for the part throttle applications and not lose as much mileage as one would think...
  17. Tweaks Via PC3...Yeah, New Bike!!

OK, the last seriies of dyno tunes netting 150/160 RWHP/TQ via Hombre's early "1fasthombre" and PC3 dyno left me unhappy. There was a HUGE flat spot at part throttle, most visible between 2K and 3K when you try to roll on it from 20% to 40% to 60%...it was dead! And I lived with it...
  18. POLL: Idle Screw People ONLY

POLL: Idle Allen Screw Fix People ONLY Dragline708 was curious and asked me to post this: You can only vote if you have TRIED the Idle Allen Screw (IAS)!! Don't play games and click for nothing b/c the computer don't know either! We need an honest snapshot of this... Again, if...
  19. Fuel Maps

It supposedly is due to the cylinder temperatures while moving and airflow, since the #1 cylinder gets more air than the number #2, etc. It may be due to another technical reason, such as" T" used an 02 sensor for each cylinder and came to these determination of fuel flow.
  20. Anyway to Safely Lighten Rock Rims...?

Anyway to Safely Lighten Rock Rims...? They weigh over 21 lbs w/o a tire, and I feel it is a good source to look at for added acceleration by reducing rotational losses. A reduction in 5 lbs would be reducing +/- 20lbs of rotational mass (depending on where the loss was on the rim. The...
