    Is this normal wear?

Well, to be fair, I do tend to power out of corners, with gusto at times, just feels great blasting out of a bend & the bike standing back upright during it & rocketing off down the road to the next corner.

    Is this normal wear?

Thx guys, yes could definitely be the road surface. Most of the roads in NZ are Tar Seal, (sharp / coarse chip) not bitumen or concrete, well, not where I live & ride anyway. I'm going to firm up the rear a bit & see how that goes for rider feel & eventually see any difference in wear. I...

    R3 GT 2020

Gidday Gazza, when you say 'last used it was fine' does that mean it's been sitting around for a while? E10 will attract moisture from the air & can settle in the tank as water & cause running issues. You in Australia?

    Is this normal wear?

I've been wondering about the wear on the rear tire, specifically towards the edges. This is a relatively new tire, so not much wear, but I see it's getting the same 'ripple' effect in the edge rubber as the previous one got. Handles fine, just wonder if others get the same ripple effect...

I dunno, but Nashvagas could be - just cause of his handle.

At wit's end Bike won't fire

Moreys Upper Cylinder Lubricant cleans & lubricates, it goes in the fuel, I've been using it for 30+ years I guess, everything with a petrol motor get it in the fuel. 30ml to 20l fuel, it's a 650:1 ratio.

Awesome! The bike is looking remarkably clean for the trip it's doing, are you cleaning it at night? or is it just not dusty on those roads?

Interesting fuel octain discrepancy I found.

In NZ, our premium is called 95 octane, I've always used this in the Rocket, n it has been known to go quite goodly at times, times when plod isn't around. . .

Love it! Looking forward to your results from the first night out. Handling something like that & getting the best out of it is gonna take a few runs. Best of luck Kevin.

    Asymmetrical front tire wear

This uneven wear on front tires has always been a bit of a mystery, never have I found a definitive reason for it. Eka, how does that stack up for those of us that ride on the left? It doesn't. Couple of absolutes to bare in mind while considering this issue: 1) a tire spinning in mid air...

    Din plug tip

I tried the bending part before the O ring. Bending worked for a while, but copper being copper it soon went back to intermittent contact. I was concerned the repeated bending of the copper raised sections would cause one or more of them to break if I kept doing it.
