    Got a insta 360 x5 today

Decided I wanted to film while riding and the insta 360 was the most versatile. Bought the motorcycle mounting kit with it. Should be fun to mess around with. I have it mounter to the license plate bracket and a zip tie running to the middle of the stick from the sissy bar. Anyone else have...

    Differential oil after 2000 miles

No so much on the plug but was in the bottom of the drain pan. Not a ton but enough to notice. This is the second oil change I've done on the differential.

So the drain plug for the differential is .545 of an inch which is .006 under 14mm so these washers should work fine for it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0FFGQFWKL/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A1THAZDOWP300U&psc=1

Video showing how to change the differential oil

When I get home I'll measure them with my calipers and post what the measurements are. Good source on the oil washers though, a lot cheaper getting them on amazon. Edit. T3551272 14.5 x 20 x 1.4 mm sealing washer. Had this in my notes. Edit. I found some on mc master carr website that are...

Video showing how to change the differential oil

It was probably a common complaint so they fixed it thankfully. I'd be pretty mad if I had a bolt break like that on my bike. I deal with it enough working on cars.

Video showing how to change the differential oil

Will these fit the differential plug because they are different than the engine oil washers.

Pretty sure traction control saved me today.

Yea the technology they have these days is pretty impressive. I had the abs save me about 2 weeks after I got the bike. All of a sudden trafic came to a stand still. It allowed me to get all the way over to the curb incase I didn't have enough room but I ended up stopping in time. A normal bike...

How much do you pay for insurance for 2500cc?

Dairyland insurance $130 a month for my 2025. Full coverage and they pay current new price for replacement if they total it and road side assistance.

    Differential oil after 2000 miles

Changed my differential oil today which I'll be posting a video on eventually. This is how it looks after 2000 miles. I always change it when I change my emgine oil since its cheap and a easy procedure. Last thing on my maintanance list to do will be lubing the drive shaft splines.

Video on greasing rear needle bearing

They have ones that will screw right onto the grease gun also. FYI Milwaukee makes a nice 12v grease gun, I'll never use a manual one again.

Its not really packed in, more just slathered all over it. Expansion shouldn't be an issue. Good point bringingnit up because the manual really doesn't tell you how much grease to use just to get in in the needle bearings.

Pretty sure traction control saved me today.

Yea, riding on the freeway you would probably have to get gas every 2 1/2 hours or so. I suppose you may wanna stand for a bit anyway after a few hrs of riding to stretch out some. For as much fun as this bike is, the frequent stops are worth it.

Pretty sure traction control saved me today.

I live on a dirt road which is pretty muddy right now from the snow melting. I pulled onto the paved street and gave it a bit to much gas not thinking about my rear tire is probably coated in mud and cold. the bikes rear end slid sideways enough that I was probably leaned over at a 45 degree...

Video on greasing rear needle bearing

I also had to buy one. I think the seals are like $8 a pc and im almost certain this is the park number. T3600705. When I was doing it I was using the puller like a pry bar and using the real pointy end. I think next time I'll try to catch the lip and just pull on it rather than doing the...

Video on greasing rear needle bearing

It would be extreamly toght fit and you probably wouldn't get the grease where it all needs to be. Just got to be careful removing it or buy one and not worry about it so much.

    Leaving cam cover off overnight?

Id say 7 grand isn't enough for the gasket not to seal so it should be all good. Sounds like you did a good job if it was that bad to start with.

Video on greasing rear needle bearing

It adds up fast but its nice once you get it done. I'm changing my final drive oil today and wanna get the splines greased before spring then ill be done for a while. I changed out the brake, motor oil, clutch oil and did the air filter the other day. It nice being able to do the work your self...
