    First gear problems

That's the gear position sensor. Not sure how cleaning that will help 1st gear engage better mechanically.... Anyway. Hows your clutch lever/cable for adjustment? Really needs to be exactly as per manual (2 to 3mm play) Normal characteristic on these bikes, when putting it into 1st, there are...

2007 Triumph Rocket Classic cooling fan relay part # & interchangeability

Yeah you got it. The non diode will work OK for now but I'd always recommend replacing like for like. Strangely the new Triumph relay (smaller one) doesn't look like it has a diode... The new Triumph relay (smaller, more rectangular one) is a micro relay, Triumph started using them in the...

2007 Triumph Rocket Classic cooling fan relay part # & interchangeability

Triumph changed over from the squarey ones to the smaller rectangulary ones around March 2013. The original leftmost one has a diode on the switching line whereas the middle one doesn't

2007 Triumph Rocket Classic cooling fan relay part # & interchangeability

Well a 4 or 5 pin 12v relay from the local auto parts shop would do, dont need Triumph ones. But anyway do you have a photo of both the old relay and this new one?

    Crazy ignition skip under load

Most likely something there not put back right, damaged or something. Dodgy plugs, HT lead not seated right etc. I'd be going back through it all and putting back old plugs and leads etc. See if the issue remains. If not change one thing at a time.

    Sump bolt question

You are talking about the 17 iirc M6 bolts and not the 3 big drain bolts in the sump right? Not heard of this exact issue before but yeah engine fasteners particularly low torque ones like these which can't be tightened as they are steel bolts in aluminium... they can loosen due to vibration...

How do you know it's ignition cutting out? And when did this start? Need to know if anything or anyone was at the bike, service works etc.

    2014 roadster parting out

Sounds like he might've overtightened it so. Wonder did he use a wrench. You're only supposed to turn it by finger tips (while turning engine by hand so chain slack is taken up everywhere else) until finger tight as they say, and back off maybe 1/8 turn.

    Cam chain timing

Not too bad. Just make sure to turn over by hand a couple times and check alignment.

    Cam chain timing

Unfortunately no. The cams are in the right place but the crank is gone too far. The dots on the main gear on the crank need to line up with the lines on the crankcase, same time as the cams are in the position they're in in the photo. You'll need to ensure the chain is taught from the cam...

    Turbo R3 TuneECU or PC6?

The PC makes developing a map approximately a million times faster & easier than TuneECU. There's a list of stuff you could/should do to an 06 especially while in there too - are you doing pistons?
