I got that Triumph thingy, came with the bike. It does the same, cept yer lying in the dirt trying to match it up. Your idea is better. No bending for this old man.
I've never had to change the cable. I don't understand how it can lead to problems. It's just a matter of slackening off the lever and the lifting arm, is it not? What have internals got to do with it?
Good info. I've never used TunEcu. Started messing with it last week. I tried pairing the OBD adaptor to my phone, no joy, so I gave up. Mine is a Gen 1, btw. I've been reading that you can connect via cable. I'll have to check that out.
