    I had 7 bikes and didn't insure any of them, not required in Florida, and they were all older. But I bought one last new bike a few months ago, and had to insure it because I had a loan, $48/month. Not sure if I'll continue the insurance when I pay it off, planning to next month.

    I would never in a million years buy anything off Facebook or Instagram, it's almost 100% scammers, and Meta couldn't care less, they won't even take down obvious scams if you report them. If it's a product I google it and buy from a different site, but that's not really applicable to your case.

    My van had Hankook tires on it when I bought it, 2 tire shops in a row told me I can't balance these pieces of crap, 3rd shop got them reasonably close. You get what you pay for.

    Interestingly, when I was 16 or 17 I went to England with my mom and sisters, my mom couldn't grasp driving on the other side. I hadn't really been driving long enough to have any ingrained habits, I had no problem, so I got to do all the driving.

    The Touring long haul seat is the most comfortable motorcycle seat I've ever sat on, bar none. On cross country trips I often fueled up without getting off the bike.

    Idk, I had Carpenter Racing take it out and reinstall it, new output shaft, I forget what all, besides thd aforementioned stuff, almost $4000 if I remember, maybe 3800. Kind of a shock, because I think his estimate was a little over 2000, it was 11 or 12 years zgo.

    Be careful til you do it. I also had the 2nd gear issue, turned out the circlip jumped out of the groove, when it went it locked up solid. I went the Robinson route myself
