    It's the guide for the pads, at opposite end to the guide pin. And yes that anti rattle spring that's in your caliper in the pic is the wrong way round, the triangle arrow should point in direct of rotation of the rotor through the caliper.

    I'd be swapping relays around to see if the problem changes, better still replace them one by one with new. Also checking condition of pins on ECU plugs, could be poor connections due to green rust etc there giving weird problems and codes

    Out with the old (VP Racing breakin oil, used for 75 miles) and in with the new. Went for a spin before the weather broke. All going well but I need to get back tuning to go beyond 75% throttle / 6000rpm, also also for more aggressive roll ons.

    I know the bolt that loosens can cause either a floppy or completely jammed shifter. but could be a number of things, dislocated and broken gears, broken shift fork, etc. Only way to know is to open it up I'm afraid
