MAP and or Air Pressure sensor fault

One thing you might also take a gander at is the crank angle sensor. It's on the bottom of the motor and held in with a single screw/bolt. Pull that and clean any oil off it then reinstall and see if the bike changes behavior for the better.

    What an amazing bike!!

Glad you're getting on with your new wheels. Once you get the mids on it will probably take a pry bar to get you off the thing.

For Sale Hate to do it, but there comes a time

Drain the gas and oil out, polish it up and it's instant art. I bought a XS650 from a guy over in Dallas years ago, and he had a 71 Kawasaki H2 750 in his living room. He drained the oil and gas out, polished it up and made it a show piece (he took it out once a year for a ride tho, he said).

    Brake Bleeding using Tune ECU

I agree with you, TuneECU is not necessary to bleed the brakes on a 2.5L Rocket. The steps outlined in the manual would have stated that a Dealer Tool was required if the modulator had to be purged electrically. It doesn't, so TuneECU which has that Dealer Tool function for ABS systems won't...

    Asymmetrical front tire wear

The pinch bolts were likely over torqued too in that case. Putting it back together with the proper torque may not solve your problem, but it sure will help with future maintenance chores. Also I would think your wheel bearings may need to be looked at since the internal spacer (#6 in the...

Yeah, turns out my leg wasn't really all that scraped up, just a bit ruffled. My right shoulder is the soreset part today, my leg is completely fine. Good thing I was wearing my riding gear. Even that didn't take any real abuse (helps when you're going nowhere fast but down), apparently the...

Another Exhaust Thread (Vandemon Headers) with Installation Pictures

Sounds like you're getting it sorted. I like the look and sound of the Vandemon's but I'm not real crazy about their pricing.

    Asymmetrical front tire wear

Don't know it's either case, but if the front wheel is offset between fork legs there has to be a reason. The spacers (8 in diagram) for the front wheel, part# T2000227, are the same on both sides. You might take a caliper and measure both spacers when you pull the front wheel to verify.

    Hello from Mesa AZ

Greetings from sunny North Texas. The only downside is the cost. The Vandemon's are beautiful, sound great but are 2 to 3 times the price of their competition.

    Asymmetrical front tire wear

I saw on a different forum where someone over torqued a front axle and crushed one of the spacers. That is probably not the case here, but a wrong spacer could be an issue.

Just put a deposit down on a mint 2022 R3 GT

Before you get the mids installed try moving the pegs to the most rearward position, it that feels better you may want to keep the parts handy in case you feel like changig it up later, Congrats on the new wheels. Kinda makes that Sportster S feel anemic doesn't it.

They don't touch, however it doesn't take a lot of effort to get them on the ground, it's once it's going vertical that you feel the weight. My Speed Triple has crash protectors for this kind of thing: and being 430 lbs dripping wet, not hard to pick up.

I finally managed to scuff the right foot peg 'bank angle indicator' this morning while out riding. Sadly I was going 0 mph when it occurred. I'm sure it's much more thrilling to scrape that little bobbin going around a corner or sharp bend than it is to watch the bike fall over when the motor...

    Brake Bleeding using Tune ECU

The procedure is for bleeding the brakes through the ABS modulator, it's the same procedure whether you replace the ABS modulator or not. The only delta might be back bleeding if the system hasn't been opened. As to Hill Hold, that actuates when the FRONT lever is squeezed REGARDLESS of rear...

    Brake Bleeding using Tune ECU

I'm curious about your view of "integrated" since the front brake lever applies pressure to the rear caliper? I'm using the term as a broadly based engineering concept, perhaps a better term would be combined braking system: Web definition: Motorcycle integrated brakes, often referred to as...
