    Temperature bars don’t change ?

I see that no one is answering up All of my knowledge is on the early ones But going to guess at how it works. I think that the ecu is feeding 5 volts to the temperature sending unit (because it is also feeding other units is why it is dropping the volts to 4.5) so i am thinking that the unit...

Gear Position Sensor 2006 Rocket Classic

Just some info The GPS settings are sent to the ecu by the switch that has different resistors for each gear for example the neutral signal when the ecu receives the correct signal it grounds the green light so the ecu and you know that it is in neutral. Does all the diagnostic lights light...

Rear wheel bearing, has this been solved?

for what it is worth my 2007 still has the same bearings probably 70,000 when i check the bearings they are tight but when they are tighten the wheel will turn easy without drag or roughness and no noise. any more i do not even use a torque wrench (on my own stuff) i just tighten it up like a...

    Ecu problem, I think.

i am thinking that the ecu change is not going to help so a backup plan would be good you need to have a jumper wire to atchet to 12 volt wire feeding the coils and injectors. on mine it is the inside wire that feeds the 12 volts but i would confirm this by removing that wire and check with volt...

    TuneECU vs. OBD2 TPS Parameter???

all i know is that on most cars and the rocket the throttle is never set at zero they always open them a little because they tend to stick when set at zero that is why the tps is ( most of the time) the tps usually reads around .5 volts instead of zero different trucks will run between 1.o and 4...

Rear wheel bearing, has this been solved?

If you clean the grease out of the old bearings then you can take the the axle with the old bearings and put your wheel and axle on two jack stands and balance the tire

    Running rough in lower revs

my old ears is not real good but was wondering that if you pulled one of the two plugs on each the cylinders one at a time if that would identify the cylinder that is making the noise. i know that is a long shot so if you do not want to try it i do not blame you.

    Ecu problem, I think.

once and a while guys have trouble with the purple wire being corroded and i suspect that may be your problem so what i would do is jumper the coils with a 12 volt supply and see if it stays running. now i think that that power comes ignition? any way it is simple enough to do.

    Ecu problem, I think.

like R-III-R Turbo said i have never seen a bad ecu. even dealt with shorts on two 2005's that just blowed fuses and never hurt the ecu. does it always turn over good? does it run good when it does start? have you checked the 12 volts on the coils? have you checked if the ecu is grounding the...

    Stuck seat latch

My experience is with the early bikes so advise may be wrong. On mine the little shaft is round and pointed on end with a slot cut near the point. Now you can see though there blade that slides into that shaft to lock it down and you can move it freely when lubed
