    Deep throaty exhaust

they all do push back then spring back into place but there are no pins. it looks as though the armature should come apart into 3 parts but at the min i have one part attached to bike where it comes off then what looks like 2 parts to the casing as there is a rubber seal about a third way up...

    Deep throaty exhaust

i didn't hit it hard, didnt even knock any paint off (was trying to loosen any rust that may have caught in the seal just a tap all the way around the lip to try to get some movement) and as for prying i gently put a flat headed screw driver under the lip to see if it would move and realised it...

    Deep throaty exhaust

I think I already know the answer to this but.... I pulled the item in my above pictures out of the armature and realised there are 4 moving arms inside that need to be pulled back. There are two screws underneath the armature which if I'm right means that one I get the armature apart I can take...

    Deep throaty exhaust

Ooops gone back and read properly, he meant relay switch not the whole blinking solenoid but while I have it off, is there anything I should be looking at, was 5 min job to get it off. I've took the starter relay off and cleaned but can easily buy a new one and replace just to make sure

I've took the solenoid off but not sure what I should be looking for, should I replace the whole thing or should I change the plunger?

    Deep throaty exhaust

As ever guys thanks for all your replys It was a coincidence, I'll try easy stuff first like battery, connectors and a general clean of electrical contacts then will repair solenoid, £13 for bits so not a deal breaker

    Deep throaty exhaust

Ok so I put main beam on and when i press ignition blue light goes out but back on if the bike eventually starts. It's very intermittent. I've took the starter housing on the handlebar off and given a clean but still intermittent starting, may have to start looking at the solenoid though another...

    Deep throaty exhaust

Ok bit strange, sometimes the bike will start and other times it wont, sometimes the clocks wont light, thus not doing its checks. However when clocks light up and bike wont start on button, I flick main beam on and it fires? Electrical issue?

    Deep throaty exhaust

Hi guys, have looked through various threads and I get conflicting info. I have a stock 2007 rocket and want to make it louder. I've seen various posts about debaffelling. Some say you can and some say you cant so just looking for a general consensus. If yes what tools do I require? I dont think...
