    If one were to do this, it would involve drilling a hole in the muffler, attaching a metal fitting of some sort, running a line to the crankcase breather and putting a check valve in between? What sort of fitting would go into the muffler (silencer) and what sort of check valve would be used...

    I recently installed a Duracell DURAGM-20L-US battery. Got it through BatteriesPlus. It comes with a two year replacement warranty. If it goes bad anytime in the two years they replace it. I believe it is made by East Penn Manufacturing who make Deka batteries. If you order it off the internet...

    Anyone interested in this ride? Forecast says the skies will be partly cloudy, 63˚F at the start and 74˚F for a high. If you want to stop at Iron Horse Werks, indicate that as well and I will ask if we can get a tour including the bikes they are currently working on.

    The version of the Gearingo I have displays the voltage of the battery rather than the coolant or ambient temperature. This device works very well with no hesitation. It is truly plug and play.

    Oil Change

    He referred to his R3T as a Roadster and he should have prefilled his oil filter with oil before screwing the filter on. This would prevent the engine from running dry for a period of time when he first starts the motor.

    The Rocket is a “halo” bike for Triumph like the Corvette is for Chevrolet or the Demon is for Dodge or the Shelby is for Ford. These are models that keep the manufacturers names on people’s lips. Now if Triumph would actually do some marketing that would also help.

    If you are missing the gear indicator, here is one called Gearingo. I use it on my R3T. It plugs into the diagnostic connector under the seat. As an added bonus, it gives you the voltage of the battery when you turn on the key.
