All I'll say is that if you're not using Motul you need to re-evaluate your life.

HPL for the win!
Donāt doubt the amsoil is excellent. Havenāt used it in a bike but open to it, feelings about the pyramid scheme aside.
Liked Motul 5100 in the Bobber. Used Motul 7100 in the Rocket for 11,600mi. Have no doubt it is excellent oil, but the shifting gave way to vagueness at around 3,500mi each time and that was aggravating here.
HPL is over-stout, over- kill by design (base oil quality, durability of viscosity modifiers, tbn, anti-wear additive, detergency). Shifting was a tad āthickā feeling the first 500mi -ish, and bang-on ever since, now at 5,548mi. Will change at winter bed-time soon, but doubt i āhave toā. Speculate itād go all 10k mi with ease. And costs similar to Motul 7100. However, shipping is a killer am afraid without a big order to amortize it, and sales are rare but there usually is one for black Friday i thinkā¦ least am hoping for oneā¦.
