I am new to the forum and want to tell everyone hello.
One of my rides is a 2011 R3Roadster with a Carpenter Racing 250hp modification. I just put on a

Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 All Season 245/50R16 97W Passenger Tire​

On the rear and was curious if anyone else ran that type of tire. I definitely have to put more input on the bars in turns low speed or high speed. Previous tires with 56k miles were the Avon Cobra Chrome averaging about 8k miles.

Greetings from sunny North Texas. I went dark side on my first Rocket in 2009 because I was going thru Metzler's like they were candy on the Kansas Highways when I lived there. I averaged about 4 fronts to every rear after the switch. Yes, the handling gets 'slower' but I managed to hustle my Rocket through the tail of the dragon ahead of a pal on his VTX 1300. So, it will corner you just have to be more deliberate with inputs to get the line you want.

Thanks! I went dark side on my Gold Wing last year and to be honest I have not noticed much difference in handling.
In the rain great!
Of course the Rocket has a larger rear tire and a having to put more input on the bars, no problem.
Shout out to the whole Carpenter Racing crew, the bike is awesome, ate those Avon’s on the rear up!!! Had the work done two years ago, when you twist the wick, make sure the bike is going straight!
