That kind of enforced downtime when you are recovering and looking at parting out gear is one of the toughest emotional hurdles for any dedicated rider. Staying connected with close riding buddies like Scott and Chris every day helps keep the community spirit alive even when you are off the saddle, but having to face letting go of accumulated parts and accessories is always painful. Still, the enduring camaraderie and the memories tied to those classic group rides make a huge difference during recovery.I text with Scott aka Steele and Chris Aka Trips every day I definitely let them know. Maybe T can find the time to come out and take me for a spin.
As for the Scotsman he pretty much has kicked me to the curb and doesn't respond. I do see family shots of him, the wifey and daughter so I believe he is well.
As soon as I'm more recovered I might start looking at dumping some parts and accessories. God that hurts !!!!!
