2026 Fall Ride, Harrison, Arkansas. October 7-12.

As of this date.....i don't believe any daily meet ups are set in stone....i would hope we as a group picked a restaurant for breakfast at a set time or a gas station for a meet up location to ensure that all have an easy option for gas ⛽️ every am

Is this meeting every day at Ozark Café ? I didn’t see a specific day/time. And we’re probably looking at shorter, rather than longer rides - my problem not yours - an Achilles heel of the CTX700 is a puny 3.5 gal fuel tank, and with two-up, that’s a bit challenging for range, and needing to plan for fuel (and my bladder ain’t what it used to be). Sorry for TMI.
No worries my friend! I was planning on fuel/smoke/stretch/whatever brakes evey 50 or so miles. Since we have folks staying in various locations and as you say, with none of us being spring chickens, Jasper seems like a good place to eat and fuel up before the rides. I would ask folks to speak up and have input on the times for "kickstands" up from Jasper, then everyone can plan for the meet up/ breakfast/fuel from their location. With folks staying at various locations, the logistics of "hearding feral cats" (Thanks Wendy), can get a little complicated. I'm not dead set on the Ozark cafe, but I do need a start/end point for planning routes. Of course if the route ends at Jasper and we ride close to an individual's accomidations before Jasper, they could simply exit the route as needed. All that said, this is a good reason for everyone to stay at the same place or close, but it simply isn't possible in this case...... So should we plan for a later departure, say 10:30 and shorter, say 150 mile routes. There is so much good riding near here that you can't really go wrong. I was going to try and get in a "Push Mountain Road (341) ride, but it would mean a 200 mileish day????? Please all speak up. Lonnie

Talked to the mountain retreat house owner today and he sent me this after we hung up. I can get more details if anyone is interested.

“Just a heads up. If you do have others who want to stay right where the best riding is, I still have a two bedroom log cabin available that is on the property and walking distance to Harmony Mountain Retreat. Please let me know if any of your group is interested.”
