Justdad and I have the X3. I almost always mount mine up front either on the engine guards or handlebars. Justdad mounts his in many different places depending on which bike he is riding and what he want to record for his FCCR YouTube videos.

I'm going to try as many mounting sposts as I can. Just ordered u bolt mount also which seems like it will be stronger. I just need the weather to cooperate with me. Supposed tp be cold after this week and rain the rest of this week so no go for now.
