Decided I wanted to film while riding and the insta 360 was the most versatile. Bought the motorcycle mounting kit with it. Should be fun to mess around with. I have it mounter to the license plate bracket and a zip tie running to the middle of the stick from the sissy bar. Anyone else have one and how do you like it?

I use the X3 still, and as I am not a huge fan of the rear view "drone follow shot" (I find them all a bit too fisheye and make my already ample derrière enormous) I have mine on the handlebars so it can show the road, show my face, and show bikes or cars beside me. I combine it with a GoPro on a chin mount on the helmet.

I have X4 and while it is fine for what it is, processing and uploading like 1h or 360 footage to youtube is just painful. The video file is HUGE. Even nowadays uploading takes long, very long.

Thus, you get to realize it is just good for tik-tok sized tiny small videos.

I am not content created by any means or want to. Feel like sharing rides with go pro is easier, files are much smaller and video is superior, though, not 360.

Overall, can't say I am in love with the X4 cam. Yes, it is wonderful as technology in 360 department, but not maybe not great in all use cases.

PS: I use a power bank to feed power to the cam when I ride, the X4 360 batteries are just not enough to keep it alive and recording for hours.

I plan on trying different mounting positions, I got it mostly for if I ever get into an accident it coves all angles. I'd still like to get deadicated front and rear view cameras but this will do for now. It is pretty neat messing with it but the files are huge.
