  1. Lower air deflectors

When I called, they had none in stock and none anticipated to come later. Maybe the situation has changed? Maybe they fail at website updating?
  2. Lower air deflectors

Anyone else not seeing it? I can, even through an "aggressive" firewall.
  3. Lower air deflectors

I'm slow, but I'm....slow. I didn't do the best job cutting the circle into the lexan. If I do it again, I could get away with a much smaller hole, if not no hole at all. BUT they work! I should mention I used galvanized conduit hangers as mounting points to the forks. Like the hole...
  4. Lower air deflectors

That's them, but $0.50 says they won't have them if you call. I made mine based on the pattern so gratiously provided above. I was able to go bigger in nearly every direction due to the mounting hardware I used. I put holes in mine for turnsignal clearance, but wouldn't do that again. Not...
  5. trip odometer problem

I haven't taken it apart, but it did re-start erratically working last night. Weird. At some point, boredom and curiosity will force me to take it apart, but that is not this day.
  6. trip odometer problem

Ok, I'll bite. How do you get it apart? I honestly haven't looked but do have the owners and shop manuals... --ok, I looked at the service manual and see that the knob is just bolted onto a splined shaft. I will take it apart and see what happens...
  7. trip odometer problem

I guess I'll wait and see. I've been having problems with the selector being "erratic" for some time. In other words, some time it worked, other times not. It seemed to be more reliable (but not 100%) with the bike not running (but with the key on, obviously). Thanks!
  8. trip odometer problem

no bath, maybe a little rain. is this a known problem?
  9. trip odometer problem

Greetings! I've done the search dance with no luck, so I post here! I can no longer "toggle" to my trip odometer. The main odo works (as do the speedo and tach), but turning the selector on the speedometer "anti-clockwise" does nothing. Where should I start looking? /rant on If the...
  10. darkside front

The bits were made by LBS (Ad Donkers is a really nice guy). The rig was assembled by Claude Stanley (whom is a great guy!) There is a build thread here: First LBS Boxer in the U.S.? - ADVrider But if you're not a member (and you should be), here is another picture:
  11. Lower air deflectors

Just to checking the printing scale, the deflector is about 11" long?
  12. Lower air deflectors

    1/4" thick?
  13. Lower air deflectors

I'd love the pattern! I was able to cobble up some semblance of anchor points using 2-1/2" conduit hangers. My problem came in the cardboard mockups of the deflectors. I thought buying might be easier. Not so I guess. Thank you!
  14. Lower air deflectors

It seems that the lower air deflectors have been discontinued. Does anyone have a source for these for a 2005? Thanks!
  15. darkside front

Yes, its a combo (rig, sidecar) only bike and I now run car tires on all three. It handles great, not that much different with the M&H, but I have a lot more front contact area than with the metzler. Here's my rig, before the tire installation: No steering mods yet, but I do have my...
