Thanks Bob - I was there once many years ago and forgot how beautiful it was. Isn't Mount Hood nearby?
Yes - despite being from the Sunshine State I am officially jealous!
Welcome fellow sunshine stater!
Whereabouts are you in our great [but currently frigid - low of 36 expected here] state?
Did you get the fastest color [black]?
Bob you will love the ride. I got mine last January and just passed 4400 miles and love it. I hope you get to ride her on the coastal highway soon - I was out there once about 10 yrs ago and remember it as a perfect cruising road. Please post pics from the Pacific Coast - here are a couple from...
I have the TORs on my R3T as well - they give the sound a nice bass note - not much louder though. I seem to notice that there is more pull from about 80 mph and over with the Triumph tune - never dyno'd though.
Here is an odd question for a Friday night -
Anyone ever try the "engine bolt head finisher kit"?
I have the R3T and the part number looks the same for all Rockets -
Yes - highway pegs with the adjustible mounts - and following your lead I am going to pick up the luggage rack Thursday at my dealer - I have the backrest too - it is cool - riding with the pegs and long haul seat with the torque is like flying on the ground...... endless grins :):):)
yes -...
Welcome - great to see another Florida R3T owner  - I love mine (just added the long haul seat with backrest and the pegs - I highly recommend both) -
If you are close to Plant City I will be at the Bikefest (first Saturday of every month) this weekend - :)
yes - sad - the company does not have a strong captial structure it seems - no cash per google of symbol VPWS - local dealer (Barry Motorsport - Tampa) has one in stock at a $4K discount from $37K per the website
I bought my R3T in January
I am still waiting on my pegs, peg mounts, front fender skirt, hardbag protection bars, - I want to order more but will not until I know they have the items available....
What are they saying about why they reduced the horsepower for torque on the touring - thanks.... [despite living in Central Fla it does not look like I will be able to go over to ask myself]
The horn on my Touring sounds like it belongs on a scooter - I candidly have not heard one on an RIII so I cannot compare..... If I absolutely had to choose the least favorite thing about the ride so far the horn would be it.....
