    I've been using these same lights for several years, attached to the trim around the radiator on my touring. They're bright, hold up well to the elements, and are nicely adjustable. I wish they came in a chrome housing.

    It's a parking light as Turbo mentioned above. It's a good place to wire a relay that will make accessories turn off when the bike is off. It should be safe to cut and tape those wires as mentioned above.

    Today I'm taking apart the starter and cleaning it per Sparky 's recommendation in hopes of solving my intermittent issue with starting. There's oil on my Bendix, see attached picture. Is this normal?
