    The rebuild shop did that when they told me that was all they could find marginally wrong, they said this shouldn't stop it from working properly. It didn't help me at all.

    Ok, I have purchased a New 17774n starter that is rated @ 1.4kw going to rebuild starter, should I also do something w/ wire that feeds starter relay or wire to solenoid, and what Guage do you believe would be best?

    2007 rocket 3 classic, love that bike, "Camilla", many times hot or cold I have to rock the bike back & forth while in gear to get it to start. Don't even know if that helps but that's what I do till I figure it out or it quits starting all together

    Hey Steve, I am sure more knowledgeable people will follow, h/e I am watching because I have been thinking about doing the same thing. I have a check engine light and having a hard time finding reliable mechs that have an obd2. I have heard the Bluetooth doesn't w/ rockets, just sayin.

    Thank you, looses cables is not an issue this time. But I do carry a handy dandy ratcheting battery tool in the left pannier.
