    Took me about a half hour because I removed the beetle bag so I could get to it. The manual was stating to remove the back wheel that's why I asked. Much easier than the 10,000 mile valve clearance check.

    Just changed my antifreeze, went with 40/60 antifreeze/water and three capfuls of water wetter. I think it might run a little cooler, at least my legs think so.......

  10. Denso Iridium Plugs

    I saw Hombres numbers for the Denso IX24B but it's not listed as a Rocket Spark Plug. In fact Denso doesn't list a Rocket III spark plug.

    That's pretty much my take as well. I'd be afraid to just leave it on the bike. Even just running into the restroom real quick. Way too easy to undo and take off. I think hooking up to the battery it is. Thanks for all the replies. rj
