  1. Here comes another battery question

Guys, I'm dumber than a stick here. My R3C is stored winters at the dealer. Last year, and again this year, I heard from the dealer that I needed a new battery when the bike came out of storage. Replacement batteries have been Yuasa. I'm a little annoyed that I have to replace the battery...
  2. New member and owner

Ruby, my daughter graduated from U of R in 2004. Great school, enjoyed being in Rochester for events, etc. Welcome aboard!

Greetings and welcome. Yes, where from?
  4. I got the go ahead

64Herald, from one Anthony to another, congratulations and cause for celebration.
  5. Hey everybody

Thank you, 64Herald, rode the beast pretty much the entire BRP in Sept. 2010, and stopped in Maggie Valley to take a look. These past few days I've seen the posts re: the upcoming MV RAA meet in mid-May and have begun to think about going.
  6. Hey everybody

TrIIIck, Thanks for the pics. So, I'm thinking your cousin's last name begins with "K," and has a daughter whose first name begins with "E," yes? Didn't want to give names online. Vermont can be a small place.
  7. Hey everybody

Yes, would look forward to that.
  8. Hey everybody

TriumPhil, thanks. I'm near Burlington and UVM when I'm not traveling.
  9. Hey everybody

Johnny, among my goals last year was riding out to BC, 3,000 mi. each way. Didn't happen but it's still on the board. My next door neighbor grew up in BC, and my daughter and son-in-law honeymooned in Vancouver. Sure look forward to the trip.
  10. Hey everybody

TRIIICK, got hung up on Rt 100 in 2010 due to road repairs. If it's torn up again, it must be Irene-related. Great ride when it's clear, pain when it's not. I grew up at the foot of Killington, but have never made the event. Hope to get to Lake George this year.
  11. Hey everybody

Just joined up this week. Bought a left-over 2007 R3C in 2009. That was 21,000 miles ago. Winter is badly beaten here in Vermont, and it won't be long before I'll be straddling the beast for another riding season. Can't wait. Everybody ride safe, have fun, let's be talking.
  12. Heated Grips anyone??

I had the heated handle grips installed when I purchased my 07 R3C. They have "high" and "low" temp settings. Here in Vermont, they have helped extend the riding season by 1-2 months. I'm a fan.
  13. Hello from Vienna

Welcome Frosti. Have you heard about or attended the Triumph "Tridays" event in Neukirchen am Grossvenediger, Austria held annually in June? Sure would like to hear from anyone that's actually attended. Was hoping to go last year, but work got in the way. Spent a couple of lay-overs in Vienna...
