Gears not engaging, after being rough with the gear shifter.

A copy of the manual (downloadable from here) will tell you most of what you need to know, it has sections on engine removal and transmission disassembly & reassembly. Based on your updates since and that it's a 2014, there is indeed also a strong probability of circlip dislocation and...

Gears not engaging, after being rough with the gear shifter.

Might be the infamous gear change actuator bolt, that the Triumph factory tech put the threadloc on the wrong end of, after loosening

    TTS install question

If by switch box you mean the stock Triumph switch housing, you have to cut it up to get the hydraulic MC & level to fit. Point 76 in the R3Owners guide; https://www.r3owners.net/threads/how-to-fit-tts-supercharger-kit-photo-heavy.36888/post-607363 While you're at it, can you post a pic of the...

    Instrument lamp replacement issue?

Haven't seen it being done, but that's not to say it's not possible. How do you know a lamp needs replacement?

Can a Rocket III take down the establishment, and rule this island

Got another couple of days to get this beast finally back on the road. Engine off the bench and into the chassis, swingarm and back wheel on.

    2015 R3R Main Harness replacement

Well, with a Roadster you can indeed find yourself having to open up a main harness to fix a problem - the good ol purple wire that has multiple crimps on it that suffer from dry rot/copper oxide and break. Leaving the bike unstartable with dead clocks due to the CANBUS design. I too have...

    Chasing gremlins

Good stuff. The vac leaks caused the gross over fuelling that fouled the plugs. Now enjoy your beast..

You can still download maps from the TuneECU site, stock ones too. Although it is recommended to download them through the Android app in order to ensure you get the latest revision. I've a database of maps from years ago too which can be available to whoever wants. So the map in the...

Good you're nearly there. If your throttles are 650-670 then they are pretty good, generally accepted that if the 3 are within 10hPa of each other then you're balanced. So you got to do another ISCV reset and get the values to 0.60 and 0.72v as close as you can. And see what the bike is like...

OK. Hope you're getting the cable from www.lonelec.com. Can you view what map is loaded (map notes) using the connector you have?

Well be sure to trace all vac tubes both to the MAP sensor and the emissions crap, for integrity and firmly seated connections. After that, if bike runs on its own OK, give the throttles a balancing. Then do another ISCV reset / TPS calibration per the other video. Can you make a video of the...

    Chasing gremlins

Updated my post for clarity. Was about 1am here and drinking. The emissions crap is on Canada & Hong Kong bikes too I think. Don't know where you're located. Anyway if you have emissions system then there are more places for vacuum leaks to occur so check everything carefully. And consider...

The green arrows show the 3 nipples that the 3 vacuum tubes connect to. The yellow arrows show the 3 blanks on each TB. The blue arrow is the 4th one which is often missed, normally blanked too. These "extra" nipples are used for emissions compliance crap on California, Canada & Hong Kong models.

    Chasing gremlins

Ya see there's your problem. And there may be more like it. Your throttle balance numbers are in the 600s now so you're getting close. Check all vac tubes and the 4 blanks for integrity and good tight connections. Then you can balance throttles and do another ISCV reset (because adjusting...

    Chasing gremlins

On the contrary. This is a myth. A stock bike idling should be in the 600s iirc. 900s is getting close to atmospheric pressure. 900s are pressures the MAP sees at wide open throttle I.e. lots of air rushing in. And so the ECU dumps in fuel to match and maintain AFR. Trouble is when the bike is...
