  3. Best Northern IL R3 shop?

But you'd be surprised how many horrible Harley techs there are out there, making bikes run worse on a daily basis. The tech I know can make any HD run like a....well, like a European or Jap bike! Warp 9.9 is a shop?
  4. Best Northern IL R3 shop?

Yep, I've been to that shop in Janesville. Great guys there, but haven't dealt with their service dept. Too bad they don't have a dyno, but I'd love to give them my business.
  5. 2010 R3's all gained 100 lbs??

Either that, or they added a waaay high-tech ABS unit that unfortunately weighs 100 lbs. - just a bit more than BMW's S1000RR system (4 lbs.).
  6. And then there were TWO!

Ah, thanks. This spring I rode a Valkyrie with a car tire on the back, and it handled way worse than my old Ironhorse Chopper with a 240 rear tire and like a 7 foot wheelbase. Didn't like it at all, although I'd love to have it at the dragstrip. :D

  9. And then there were TWO!

Please explain for this newbie.
  10. Welcome!!!

Hello everybody - newbie here as of today. I am planning to replace my long-loved V-Rod, looking for something faster, better for long distances, and better for a passenger. Loving that R3 Roadster, especially the exhaust and the blacked-out components.... ...and I'd really like to hear...
  11. 2010 R3's all gained 100 lbs??

I'm real fond of the new 2010 R3 Roadster, and was perusing Triumph's official site, checking out the specs. Well, I happened to notice that Triumph lists the wet weight of the 2009 R3 as 704 lbs. and the 2009 R3 Touring's wet weight is 788 lbs. THEN Truimph's official site lists the wet...
