    Disagree with you lads. I always service (I do them myself) at the recommended distance, miles or km, in the R3 case it is 16k and that is what I do. 16k, 32k, 48k, etc etc, not hard. My old R111 has 180k on it and still going strong. It has done a lot of towing, so I change final drive oil...

    Ceramic Coated Headers

    The exhaust system on my R111R was very hot, it would glow red in the dark. I had the full system ceramic coated about2012, has done 180k and almost as good as when it was done. A lot less heat and is pretty resilient. I am going to fit a Viking system to the R3 and will get it ceramic coated...

    Lotus, I don't think it is a revenue thing from Triumph, they all do it now, I just think it is a gimmick same as the service light, lane assist etc etc. No real value just a PITA

    The problem with removing the TC is you have to scroll through and switch off every time you start the bike. As far as I know it cannot be switched off permanently

    I always grease the splines at each tyre change on the R111, so will do the same with the R3

    I hate key fobs

    I agree with all the nay sayers, the fob is a PITA, and holding against the antenna does not always go that easy. I do it now and then to practice but takes a while to connect. Give me a key and ignition anytime, always know where the key is.

    oil drain O'Ring.

    I have never replaced a plug washer on any of my bikes, not done an oil change on the R3 yet, and never had an issue.
