  1. Oil Leak / Pinhole in block

Quick update, finally got a resolution to my porous cyl. head problem. Triumph came to the party and gave me a replacement bike. Yahoo! Faith restored.

If they install a new head it's a rebuild. Under our consumer rights laws we are entitled to ask for a replacement vehicle or a refund. I spent years working in bike shops and don't trust any of them as far as workmanship goes. A factory built bike is a new bike, which is what I purchased and...

Hi and cheers for the welcome. I took the bike into the dealer today and the mechanic agreed it is a porous casting. I told them that I'm not really interested in a repair and referred them to the post you mentioned, which I had already found. They have initiated the claim and given me the...

The wetness starts about 5ml below the cam cover gasket and the area above it between the leak and gasket is dry as a bone. I was actually a bike mechanic for around ten years at a dealership so know what to look for and...

Unfortunately I have just discovered a problem with my bike,it is leaking oil from what appears to be a pinhole in the cylinder...
  9. Oil Leak / Pinhole in block

Just joined your forum and found this thread. I have had my 2016 Roadster for about 2 weeks and guess what, mines leaking in the exact same place! Not a happy camper at all, just about to go see my dealer and make them aware of the issue. Don't want a replacement cyl. head as then I don't have...
