    That would have been my guess. You beat me to the post. I want to see how much this helps out HP wise. So how much do you think our dealers will hate us for doing this mod?

    My bike is stock minus the K&N Filter. I will go to my dealer this week and get the cat remover/new tune and try to pry him for more information. I'd just like to know how this all works.

    So why is my dealer telling me the tune i'd get with the cat remover would give me that 7% back? This is why I am confused.

    OK.. SO the PC3 does not take the place of the ECM or whatever it is called. It just takes what tune is in the stock computer and adds adjustment where need be. But it is still using the onboard computer as well as the PC3. Therefore it isn't getting rid of the 7%. Does that sound right?

    So the PC3 does not actualy bipass the computer? Are you saying it just enhances it?

    Interesting because my dealer said that if I got the Cat Bipass he would dump a tune in it to get rid of the 7%.

    Does the PC3 remove the 7% first gears detune from stock RIII's? I would think it did but havn't been able to get an answer elsewhere.
