    That's 10 - 12psi under recommended pressure. What brand / spec of tires are you using? SA gets pretty hot, so wonder if the pressure comes up to 42 during a run. Do you have a TPMS on the bike? I'd be interested to know temps & pressure during a ride & what the ambient is at the same time.

    Just a side question for the OP, what's the small square box you've mounted near the clutch master cylinder? I also noticed you had the 3 keys on a key ring sitting on the seat, I hope you don't use the bike with the 3 keys together as Triumph says this could cause problems.

    Is your 10k miles or kilometers? Mine was Kilometers so 6600 miles for the rear which was getting close to the wear bars, changed it slightly early because of the greater chance of punctures.

    Thinking on this, even if the decompressor was jammed open, the speed at which the engine is turned over to start would still create 'some' pressure, not zero.

    Did you see my post 4 above this one? There's a tip there. Another tip, once the bike is started it does not check for the FOB any more, so it doesn't matter where you put it. The bike only looks for the FOB or Passive key to start, once she's running you can loose the fob & it'll keep...

    Correct in that it's the Tail Bag, however it is specifically designed to fit & be restrained on the passenger seat. It does not fit at all on the small carrier, now, if you modified the base & restraint system for it, then it could fit on there nicely, but it wouldn't fit on the rear seat...

    Lotus, you say it doesn't seem to work, seem being the operative word here. Not trying to teach ya to suck eggs (or start your bike) but thought a written list of starting the bike with the FOB in passive mode (ie turned off or a flat battery) may assist, as the handle bar switch can make it...

    Nice tidy solution. You realise there's another antenna up front near the headlight? Just wondering if leaving a coded spare key in this vicinity might leave the bike able to be started with a push of the ignition switch, best ya check it.

    You must be running a Penner tune with de-restrict, yeah? I'm too old & rotund to lie down against the tank like that, guess I'll have to just stick with the occasional high speed blasts, else I'll end up with extremely loooong arms .. .
