    I'm in the same boat, with the same goal. Except I'm only 5'11". I don't want my helmet getting pummeled, but cant have something catching wind like you're describing. I've got a Powerbronze Powerblade on order. Hopefully I can hit it on my first shot.

    Am I crazy!!

    That's a good description. From a strictly acceleration standpoint, I've been chasing a "borderline scary" feeling from a motorcycle for what seems like a lifetime. I've finally found it...and then some. I feel like I should be on a racetrack or drag strip or salt flats or something.

    Not crazy buying the motorcycle. It is a little crazy the feeling you get in 2nd and 3rd gear when you get to the sweet spot of the torque curve. Hard to describe with words but its it's a little like Star Wars when the Millennium Falcon hits warp drive.

    Sounds like you know exactly what I'm talking about. Out of sync rattle is a good description. Mine only does at 2600-2800 RPM. Everywhere else it's smooth. My 2300 Rocket Touring doesn't have this quirk. I had a theory that flashing a better tune would help. Looks like you've done that...
