    What a pain in the arsch... :( For my particular problem (see below) I trimmed away the plastic conduit that was blocking the signal light from coming back straight. Now it comes back almost straight. I'll try a heat gun and a clamping contraption to see if I can get it to straighten...

    How did you get the top cover off before the Dremel work? I've unbolted the right and left side from below but the cover doesn't pop off real easily and I don't want to pry too hard in case there's something else holding it together.

    Wait. I wonder if I could use a cheap t-handle, glue it in the hex head and pull while turning. if it ruined the tool or the bolt it'd still be worth it. Save me from the dremel method. @wunderkind write up made it sound like the threadlock was pretty stout though. Might not work.

    It's actually not a thin metal sleeve. I just figured out its a stiff rubber/plastic sleeve. Going to try to trim it away with t razor blade.

    2013 Roadster No Starty!

    The new Rockets are a blast. I have a 2011 Touring, so can compare. It's unreal the power of the new ones. Plus they're about 200 pounds lighter. Feels very maneuverable and unbelievably fast. As @Kevin frazier would say, smiles per mile are off the charts.

    Me too Phil. Got to get the new Rocket out on some curves. Nothing but straight lines and cornfields in Iowa. So I'd definitely be up for a Maggie valley thing. I do have a commitment to a yearly week at the lake with my wife's family from July 12th to the 19th though.
