  5. Coolant Leak/Overflow?

    Update; What looked like a gasket issue turned out to be a puncture in the radiator. I just didn't see where the coolant was running down. Not sure what happened but at least it's not a mechanical failure or a major issue.

    Looks to be a bit more serious than hoses or the cap. Looks to be a failed gasket.

    Started the bike and watched. Coolant is leaking from multiple places. Guessing it's a bad seal. Less than 600 miles. Not happy.

    Never did get a coolant warning light. I'll dig into it tomorrow and start looking around.

    Riding to day I heard a "psssst" sound then noticed coolant leaking. Not sure if it's an overflow issue or something serious. Since this is my first bike that uses coolant not sure where to check.

    I figured that part put. It pushes in and pulls out very easy. Is it supposed to be hard to pull out?

    Quick question, Just took the oil cap off the new R3T for the first time. It was VERY tight however when putting it back it seems to fit loose. Turns and comes out easily now. Is this normal? Thanks, John
