  2. R3T Ignition switch

    Triumph replaced my R3T switch and locks for intermittent fault. However unknown if fault was the switch or later found faulty connector plugs.

    I have had 2 Triumph warranty replacements for the cheap plastic breaking on the RH heated grip. The plastic is so cheap and weak they have to be aware of this.

    Intermittent to then regular no power to bike when the ignition turned on. While this was happening the key in the ignition switch became quite hot. When the switch was replaced I was told that there was no apparent damage to the switch. Now with new switch the bike always power when turned on...

    I'm "lucky". I have had both the Classic and Touring ignition switch replaced under warranty! :rolleyes:

  9. Fuel Gage Problem

    Same bike. Had the tune updated by the dealer recently. Then I noticed problem same as yours which occurred since that tune update. Spoke to the dealer today and booked in for a free correction. He said that it is a simple tweak of the engine management control.

    Hi Lester, Never thought of that - heated grips on and not wear gloves <g> Guess their is a certain logic though the high setting still is too hot with gloves (except when riding in the rain). Groover.
