    7.5 Key fuse Blowing out

So not only do you work better in the dark, but you think better when you are asleep... That means you are at your worst in broad daylight, awake... Yikes... :)

    7.5 Key fuse Blowing out

Turbo's suggestion is right on. I have used self resetting blade style breakers, rated slightly below the circuit rating, to track down a stubborn grounded or shorted circuit. The breaker will cycle on and off allowing you to troubleshoot the circuit without melting it. I have even used a...

Cleaning road tar off exhaust - 2020 Rocket 3 GT

I have used penetrating oil in the past on both painted and exhaust surfaces. Yep... WD 40 or similar. Spray on liberally and let sit for a while then lightly wipe off (tar and road grime literally falls off).

its official Triumph released R3 Storm

So it looks like the Storm models of both the GT and R will have the same horsepower as the original TFC... That makes me wonder if the Storm/TFC tunes are the same and if they both share the 'titanium' valves the TFC was advertised with? Does anyone know if the titanium valves originally...

That is one huge license plate functioning as a tail tidy... Got a side view? I'm trying to determine if I like it... Great idea though.

    Gearbox Issues

Just had another eureka moment... Is it possible you are feeling the affect of the rad shroud vibrating on the mounts due to the higher frequency when accelerating. Maybe the rad itself... I can't remember if you stated you only feel the vibes when moving under acceleration or when also reving...

    Gearbox Issues

With the dealer giving you those lame one liners as to what they've found, I'd grab my ride and leave. I've been thinking about this "judder" you feel and the fact it seems to be mechanical. There have been a number of suggested solutions, all being the potential answer given the fact we...

Oil Filter to prefill or not

Hello rckt3... wasn't trying to criticise anyone. Just making a general comment related to the original question. I marvel and appreciate what some owners will do to minimise those first few oil deprived seconds after startup.

Oil Filter to prefill or not

I think we are overthinking this. Lube the gasket and screw it on; fill the tank and start the bike letting it idle till the light goes out. No mess, no fuss.

Can anyone recommend a power distribution unit ?

Switchable fuse blocks are also available online. There are many types. Here is the first one I came across with a quick search. https://www.amazon.com/RANDPOW-Electrical-Interface-Indicator-Automotive/dp/B0C7KQSHHM I don't know how good or bad this particular brand might be... You could...

Oil Filter to prefill or not

Given that the filter goes in sideways, it can't really be prefilled completely. If it could be, I would prefill. I used to prefill the filter on my America and any vehicle with a vertically mounted filter, but with the Rocket 111, I just spin it on and idle the bike till she's good. (so long...

    Gearbox Issues

Since any rear spline issues would normally be felt under load in all gears, I would check there first. A little tricky to remove the final drive since the wheel/axle and mufflers need to be removed. The issue with the splines is that there isn't any scheduled maintenance to lube them in the...

    Reasonable Dealer Request?

Mine had 0 kms. I don't think they performed a PDI ride on it. I had them install the TORs on the bike before I picked it up and the tech who did the work informed me that these were the first ones they had installed on a new Roadster. He said he hadn't had an opportunity to see what the...
