    Rear brakes so easy to install if u don't read manual.

    There is a video on you tube on changing rear pads its well done. I read the manual and was going to let the shop do it. Then found the video on you tube unbelievable. Simple job.

    Just read my reply the captain obvious comment was not meant how it came across. Just meant there are too many starter switches one these rockets. Apologies frosty.

    Got it. I was lucky enough to find a starter off a wrecked bike.new ones are outrageous no one over here would rebuild it. Then it was not even the starter at least now I have a spare. Good luck best wishes .again I hate electronics.

    I had a very similar problem with my 06 rocket classic. found it was the clutch switch.I had replaced the starter all was fine for about a week . Then same issue all over again. Had clutch switch replaced so far do good. Seems there is a key switch,clutch switch and don't forget a kickstand...

    I had a very similar problem it was a BaD coil pack. Ran good at high rpm missed around 2000 and under.

    Tire is personal choice I found Metzler to last longer. Avon handled well but wore out sooner. As far as your wife I won't get sappy enjoy each day. Best of luck

    I had that issue found one of the coil packs was starting to cook. Is gel of some sort was rising out of the socket where you plg in the wire.

    You guys crack me up. I think it depends on your bike color as to witch motor color looks good. I have a 06 classic red and black with black motor with chrome accents looks good. As far as silver vs black. The black is stealth and undetected by radar.

    Mine is in the shop now for tps replacement. Throttle was sticking on high idle. See how it is when I get it back.
