    I had what sounds like a problem similar to several of the posts on this thread - revs would stay 1800-2000 and would not return to idle. It turned out to be a low tech issue. The twist grip was binding on the bar end weight and wouldn't allow the throttle to return to the idle position.

    I just bought a set of Hepco Becker hard bags. I haven't mounted them yet but they look great and are top quality. They are the only maker I found besides Corbin that makes a mounting rack specifically for the R3.

    You sure that doesn't say Checker on it somewhere? Actually, great bike. I've put a lot of miles on rented Wings (including yellow ones) and enjoyed every mile. Good luck with it.

    I always thought the vests were a practical thing. If you sew your patches to your jacket, every time you get a new jacket you have to pull them off the old one and and sew them on the new one.
