    Owner's Manual Jibberish

Regarding rear preload: Fully anti-clockwise (marked as the solo riding setting) is approx. 31 clicks out, or 15.5 turns. If you add luggage it's saying to add 22 clicks (11 turns) to get you to 9 clicks (4.5 turns) out. With passenger it's saying to add 31 clicks (15.5 turns) to get you to 0...

Noco a good alternative to yuasa?

I was thinking the same. There are alternatives that are 6 to 8 Ah, though they may not all be of the same overall quality. It looks good on the website, but it's tiny and needs relatively large spacers to fit properly. If they made one with 8 Ah capacity, I'd be all over it.

Will a slip-on Exhaust void the warranty on a '25 Storm?

Depends on your country, but in the U.S. if they refuse to honor a warranty claim due to a modification, then you can sue them and then they have to demonstrate that your modification is the likely cause of the issue. Getting sued is typically more expensive than just making the repair, so they...

Noco a good alternative to yuasa?

It's not a Lithium Ion battery. The current gen Tigers all come with LiFePO4 batteries, and they aren't burning to the ground. Because it's a different technology.

    Fuel vapors...

Possible in some cases. But the purpose of the vacuum relief valve in the cap is to allow air into the tank, while preventing fuel vapors from leaving the tank. If it's stuck open, there would be no pressure differential. If it's stuck closed, the observed issue would be the tank sucking in...

    Realistic Fuel Mileage?

I've been using Fuelly to track my fuel usage (and costs). Over the past 5,000 miles it's averaged 33.819 US MPG (or 14.37 km/l or 40.6 UK MPG). Nearly all of that was pre-tune.

    Fuel vapors...

Yeah, I was thinking about that spring. Are you closing the plastic cap fully to one click? I'm wondering if some of them are faulty and not sealing properly unless pressed down (such as by that spring). I'm going to have to look more closely at my vent hose to see if it's pinched. I still...

    Fuel vapors...

That sounds backwards. On mine, the aluminum cap is decorative and not sealed, so nothing happens when it's opened. The black locking plastic cap beneath it is the one that's sealed.

    Tuning a 2023 onwards R3

It means to overwrite the maps with updated ones. With TuneECU you can do that and also suppress errors due to a missing O2 sensor (alternatively, you can install an O2 emulator). You don't need to tune the R3 if you just remove the cat, you won't damage it, but you can get more HP if you do.

'23 and '24 can definitely be tuned. I put a tune on my '24.

    Key and FOB reprogramming

It should only take about 30 minutes, all inclusive, to register all three keys. In short, they erase the two missing keys, then re-register the smart key (10 minutes) and each passive key (5 minutes each). It sounds like they're ripping you off. I don't remember this functionality being in...

Question for those who installed Carbon Parts

These days I use SiO2 to protect everything and have a garage. Back in the day I had CF on a Ducati that sat in the sun and it pitted and turned frosty whitish on the surface.

    Metzler Cruisetec vs. Avon Cobras

The approved tire selector guide on Triumph's website lists only the Cruisetecs, which supports what others said about the Chromes going away. https://triumphtechnicalinformation.com/tyres
