    So after getting with D and D Cycles and going through part numbers.... seems a driveshaft and final drive from a roadster will work on a classic (in theory). So here we go. Ill update when its all together.

    From what I understand theres 3 different ones. One small and 2 large, Roadster with an 87 degree cut, and Touring with a 90 degree cut. Now a new question.... is the driveshaft LENGTH the same on classic and roadster? Can I take a roadster driveshaft and final drive and put it on a 07...

    Its a 2007 tourer....(classic) It has the smaller splines. Evidently it didnt like the new Carpenter head. Ill get some pics and post.

    I've been away from the forum for a while but I'm wondering if anyone has ever come up with a fix for the final drive splines? Or is it still just try to scare one up on ebay? Does it press off the drive?
